The VIP opening night on Friday will be by invitation only and on the weekend the exhibition is open to the public and entrance will be free.
Yebo Art Gallery’s Director Aleta Armstrong, said: “Next year Swaziland proudly celebrates 50 years of Independence and Yebo wanted to celebrate this with a big art exhibition which will highlight the wonderful talent we have in Swaziland. We have just launched our open call to all artists in Swaziland and look forward to working together with many artists. Yebo is also organising a small Designer Trade Fair at the event with selected local designers, artists and manufacturers launching exciting new ranges honouring the 50th celebrations. This will be an invaluable opportunity for the corporate sector and government to see what gifts are available and to buy local. We are very grateful to Royal Villas who will partner with us on this exciting event.”
The Royal Villas will be show casing its exclusive function venue “The Sharma House” in conjunction with Yebo Art’s Gallery’s art exhibition and celebration of 50 years of Independence. Guests and attendee’s will have the opportunity to view the venue and accommodation facilities during the exhibition.
