Yini Loku, a collaborative project space founded and curated by Yebo Art Gallery, Yebo ArtReach, Antidote Music and Antidote Culture Foundation opened its first exhibition by Swazi artist Mbongeni Dlamini. Yini Loku is a vibrant, inclusive and independent hub for creativity and offers a safe space for artists, activists, youth, environmentalists and creatives from diverse backgrounds to gather and co-create.
Titled Solastalgia, the exhibition explores the tension between wonder, loss, violence and belonging through the context of a changing landscape and home. The show features artwork in various mediums such as printmedia, photography, drawing and mapping.
Solastalgia opened on the 9th of December and will run through to the 21st of January 2024.
