Sibusiso Zungu, known as Parcel SWZ in the music circles, is an emerging music producer from Eswatini whose talent knows no bounds. Whilst growing up in Ekupheleni, Parcel SWZ was drawn to music as a leader of his community’s church choir and since then music has been his daily bread. Parcel SWZ made his grand entrance into the music scene with the release of his debut EP, The Parcel, under Eswatini’s electronic music power, Antidote Music, in 2019. The lead single from the EP, Ngiyatifela Ngawe, went on to peak at No. 25 on Traxsource’s Afro House Top 100 chart. Soon after, another one of his songs, Sive Esimnyama, broke into the iTunes South Africa Dance Music charts, charting at No. 14.
Parcel SWZ’s eclectic sound and versatility in his music production is what puts him forward as one of Eswatini’s most promising music producers. He has since worked with a host of artists locally composing and producing music for artists such as Mzwaa, Velemseni and Sarnilo among others.
His inspiration is fueled by his sole mission in the arts which is to bring positive change to his community and the world, at large, by using music to ignite hope and share messages of love. He is determined to recreate the narrative of the black child by overcoming what others may view as a disadvantaged background and becoming one of the world’s most influential and impactful musicians.
