Yebo Contemporary Art Gallery’s 35th exhibition called Swaziland Contemporary opened on Saturday 21st of October at their gallery in Ezulwini. It featured exciting new work by twelve local artists; Khulekani Msweli, Mbongeni Dlamini, Aleta Armstrong. Thabo Lukhele, Fela Dlamini, Tony Marshak, Dane Armstrong, Phindile Mamba, Mesuli Mamba, Pete Armstrong, Celimpilo Dlamini and Obed Chipwepwe.
Saturday 21st October: Representative from Visual Artists Network of South Africa, Katlego Taunyane discussed VANSA’s work and news from the arts sector in South Africa.
Saturday 28th October: Dane Armstrong, Seipati Jonga, Annabel Morgan, Beko Dlamini and Rachel Albright discussed various topics on creativity and the youth.
Saturday 4th of November; Director of JEREMPAUL, Khulekani Msweli and Sakhile Gumbi discussed the importance of investing in art and offering advice on to start your own collection.
Saturday 11th of November: Director of Yebo Art Gallery, Aleta Armstrong and artist Fela Dlamini offered advice to aspiring, self- taught artists on how to have a career in the fine arts industry.
