Exhibition #24: Livi laBomake (Women’s Voices) Art Project
This exhibition features work from the participants and facilitators of the Women’s Voices art project run by Yebo ArtReach. The project was run by local female artists for a group of 20 women from around Swaziland, all of whom are untrained in visual arts. The intensive workshops in creative writing, poetry, drawing and painting ran for 6 consecutive weeks, and the resulting body of work comprised an amazing and powerful exhibition which toured around Swaziland for 5 weeks. The work is all for sale, with proceeds going directly to the artists and project funds.
