Yebo! Art Gallery invites emerging and professional artists to submit artwork in any medium (painting, drawing, photography, sculpture, installation etc) responding to the theme of ‘Love’.
Love is a multifaceted feeling that underlies everything from a deep affection for another, to the
simplest pleasures of life. Love is an all encompassing feeling of emotional and mental positivity.
It takes on all shapes and sizes, and is directed to any and all things we hold dear. We love animals, we love food, we love ourselves and others;
We love sticks and stones, and words that mend our bones.Love can be tangible and readily visible; it can be spiritual, divine, complex, simple, platonic, and so much more.
Love can be held for anyone or everything. What shapes and forms does your love take?

This exhibition can allow me to combine two of my great loves, one, my love of nature, and second, my love of painting. I began painting when I was six years old and am fortunate to be able to continue in my old age. I also remember my first painting of nature. Again, when I was six or perhaps seven, I was in bed recovering from scarlet fever and spent much of my time drawing, . Wanting a change of subject matter, I chose to draw and paint an ash tree just outside my bedroom window. This was the absolute beginning of my love of painting nature and landscape.
