As the founder and CEO of Claiming Ground Records, Swaziland’s very first and leading record label founded in 2006, Multi-Award-winning Producer & Rapper; singer, sound engineer, songwriter, and DJ – Mozaik perfectly fits the description of a young and gifted creative whose abilities are yet to be fully realized and unleashed to stratospheric levels.
Born Muzi Ngwenya, into a musical family in March1985, Mozaik has always been surrounded by multiple musical influences. In 1998 he began studying music while attending his secondary education at Salesian High School. Upon completion of his high school education, he pursued Sound Engineering at a Paisley college in Scotland, United Kingdom.
While on the journey to perfecting his artistry, Mozaik has been continously working on also colouring his production credibility. Having produced albums and singles for a number of artists both locally and across borders, he has earned a lot of respect even winning awards for these.
On the 22nd of March 2020, NOWHERE, his Debut album was finally released under Claiming Ground Records, his own record label. It is being distributed across most digital stores and CDs are available at selected retail outlets in Swaziland and in South Africa.
