Tutu was born and raised in the Lubombo region of the Kingdom of Eswatini, in a rural area called kaMalindza. He is a 42-year-old self taught fine artist who works mostly with graphite, charcoal and color pencils on paper and sometimes on canvas. He is currently represented by Yebo Art Gallery.
The work attached is one of my many artworks. It is titled, After Hours (Mama’s coming back home). The piece is inspired by all mothers (especially single mothers widowed or abandoned) who work tirelessly to put bread on the table for their children. It is my appreciation of the ‘Superwomen’.
